The Maccabiah is the “Jewish Olympics,” a quadrennial event held in Israel with the participation of Jewish athletes from around the world. The “Maccabiyon,” as the first Maccabiah Games were called held in Tel Aviv on March 28, 1932 and twenty-one countries sent participants.
