In each and every generation, a person is obligated to regard himself as though he actually left Egypt.

Year after year we invoke this commandment at our Passover Seders, yet we often forget that where the Jewish people were headed is equally as important as their redemption from the shackles of slavery.

Celebrating Our Journey to Freedom

As we gather with family and friends this Passover, let us remember that slavery, redemption, wandering and the dream of freedom have always been part of a singular course in our people’s history: to ensure that we, our children, and our children’s children shall merit seeing Jewish life flourishing freely in a Jewish land.
