Israel is at war, a war for the peace of all of its citizens, a war for our home. Until now, the residents of Nes Harim have lived under the illusion that we are safe, that there is no need for a fence or a gate to protect us from the beautiful forests surrounding us. But unfortunately, reality has forced us to take the necessary precautions to protect our community from armed terrorists who could brutally end our lives and those of our children. Our pastoral settlement, located between Beit Shemesh and Jerusalem, does not have a fence or gate to prevent the entry of wrongdoers. Because of the supposed distance from any hostile villages, Moshav Nes Harim is not entitled to receive a budget from the state for the construction of a fence. But our forests are a safe haven for hiding terrorists, and our fear is real. Therefore, in this difficult time, we are forced to raise funds to maintain our safety and the safety of our families, our children, our future. We ask you consider making a contribution to protect the "miracle in the mountains", whose name was taken from the Book of Isaiah 18:3 "When a banner is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and when a shofar sounds, you will hear it." THESE GATES HAVE SAVED LIVES. Please help us keep our banner raised in the mountains today and forever.
ישראל נמצאת במלחמה, מלחמה על שלום אזרחיה, מלחמה על הבית.
עד עתה, חיינו תושבי נס הרים באשליה שאנחנו בטוחים, שהמקום בו אנו חיים בטוח. שאין צורך בגדר או שער שימנעו כניסת מחבלים חמושים שייסיימו את חיינו וחיי ילדינו באכזריות.
היישוב הפסטורלי שלנו הממוקם בין בית שמש לירושלים אינו מגודר ואף שער אינו עוצר את כניסתם של בני עוולה.
על פי חוק, מושב נס הרים אינו זכאי לקבל תקציב מהמדינה להקמת גדר וזאת בשל מספר מטרים בודדים המרחיקים אותנו מהמרחק הקבוע בחוק מיישוב עוין. אך היער שעוטף אותנו מכל הכיוונים, מהווה מקום מחבוא מושלם עבור טרוריסטים והפחד שלנו מפניהם הוא אמיתי.
לכן, בשעה קשה זו, אנו נאלצים להתרים כספים כדי לשמור על בטחוננו ובטחון ילדינו ולשמור על המקום היפה ששמו נלקח מספר ישעיהו י״ח, ג׳:
״כָּל יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל וְשֹׁכְנֵי אָרֶץ כִּנְשֹׂא נֵס הָרִים תִּרְאוּ וְכִתְקֹעַ שׁוֹפָר תִּשְׁמָעוּ.״
