Israel’s soldiers defending the human rights of her citizens are continuously under attack. Dehumanized even while fighting terror face to face, these brave warriors are defending the very cause of Jewish freedom that Abraham, King David, the Maccabees, the ghetto fighters and Jews who have taken up arms in defense against hate throughout the centuries. This is a war of good vs. evil, and even with the errors of field battle, the Israeli soldier is the human embodiment of the just war for peace.
We need to change the rhetoric of hate that demonizes and dehumanizes these fighters. Israeli soldiers - of every faith, ethnicity, and political leaning - demonstrate the pursuit of justice and freedom for all of Israel’s citizens. We must hear their stories, and teach others their truth.
Join us for an evening of personal sharing and reflection, by our brave men and women who have been serving on the front lines throughout these nearly 10 months of war.

- How can we apply their lessons of battle in real life, in our communities and education, and in the media?
- How can we grasp, or transmit, the graphic and painful elements of their confrontations with the enemy, and the impossible situations they find themselves in while fighting terrorists among civilians and human shields?
- How can we transmit the integrity of the soldiers to a world determined to demonize them as “militant occupying forces that commit human rights abuses”?
- What must we do to alter that view, and to take part in this fight?
