All around us, we are witness to wanton brutality, persecution and calls for our murder. The shouts of "one solution" and the screams inside our own heads and hearts, as we are searching for answers while yearning for hope. The fear, the unending stories of antisemitic incidents, the distancing from friends or colleagues, are a trigger for comparison with the chapter of human experience that we most closely associated with desperation and fear: that of the Holocaust and the persecution of Jews.
The associations of memory awaken yesterday’s pain, while we try to balance with the reality of today.
Join us to remember a world of evil that has left lessons for each of us, facing a turbulent past while living in a turbulent present.
