Age is Just a Number When Standing For Israel

Cedar Village is a retirement community located just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, offering independent living, assisted living, long term care, short term inpatient rehabilitation as well as outpatient rehabilitation, hospice, home care and more. The product of a merger between two long time Cincinnati Jewish nursing homes, Cedar Village is about to celebrate its 18th birthday!

The mission of Cedar Village is "that aging be an enriching and fulfilling experience" and the focus of programs, services and activities is all directed in that way. Cedar Village is the only facility in the country to have taken three missions of residents to Israel, just one indication of the organization's firm belief that age is just a number.

As the conflict in Israel and Gaza escalated, residents and staff had many conversations about Israel and expressed a desire to show support for Israel and for peace. The senior management team talked about how to do this and decided to make a music video -- the fourth that Cedar Village has produced.

Engaging talented singer and songwriter Marc Rossio, with whom we had worked on previous music videos, we asked him to create a song for us to share our feelings that we stand for Israel, we stand for peace, we stand for all the people.

Marc, a video crew from Murray Multi Media Resources, and the staff and residents of Cedar Village spent the day singing, dancing, holding up signs and, overall, expressing their support and belief in the nation of Israel.

The video was posted with a hope that it will go viral and share the message of support and peace around the world.

We hope you will help spread the IsraeLove by sharing this video, and this meaningful story about the Israel connection of the older generation who witnessed the birth of Israel and who continue to stand by her now and FOREVER!
