On the Edge of Madness, we wait and seek options.

It is again the 7th, as we pass 490 days, 6 months, and countless moments we cannot measure or describe. Thwarted terror attacks, fallen soldiers, endless news of Jewhatred rampant around the world. Shocking proclamations, essential sanctions and departures from the dens of demonization of Israel and Jews - the division once again grows between us, and many no longer know how to sustain the overdrive imposed on our lives.

And we wait. For Hamas to disclose which of the remaining hostages will be released in the final phase 1 of this deal. For another display of a death cult society. Tomorrow we will face more trauma, as a family, as a nation, every day after that until all the hostages are returned home. The releases take their toll on us, each time witnessing again the attempt to humiliate and torture and impose terror on our minds and in our hearts. We remain in a realm of the unknown.

But the mind reels over the fate of 2 babies and 1 woman still held captive. How is this possible?

How can the world have allowed this to happen? Human rights and women's rights organizations all silent. How could all our efforts not have made more of a difference in achieving more, sooner?

Blame is everywhere, despair is high, helplessness overwhelming, and the silence over Shiri, Ariel & Kfir is deafening. Watching Yarden Bibas return to Israel while his young wife and babies remain in Hamas captivity was heartbreaking and torturous. Many have given up hope but we must not!

We must do what we can. We must pray, we must encourage others to pray.

SAY A PRAYER FOR THE HOSTAGES

 

 

The anxiousness we all feel, still holding our breath, is being silenced in the face of disagreement over the newly announced plan for the future of Gaza. But one thing is important to emphasize: history is taking shape and we are center stage.

We cannot afford silence or complacency. Whether it’s anti-Semitic conferences on campuses, bias in education, or the horrifying chants for more atrocities like October 7, the fight for Jewish rights continues on every front.

The euphemistic blood libels against Jews and Israel continue to dominate every platform - and we must all do just a little bit more to counter the influence on our own family and friends.

The war is long, but hope and determination remain our strongest weapons.

Learn. Teach. Speak. Get advice. Take Action. Get involved.

 

Let us honor the hostages freed, remember those still waiting for their loved ones, and commit to action that ensures no date in history repeats itself as another tragedy for the Jewish people.
