Israel is being falsely accused by its enemies, unfairly judged by the United Nations and grossly misrepresented by the world media on a regular basis.
Zionism is time and again branded as a racist, imperialistic movement that promotes discrimination and apartheid. Spokesmen for terrorists are propagating hostility towards Israel, stating that it doesn’t have a right to exist and openly calling for its destruction. Regrettably, the Jewish-Israeli response to this onslaught of hatred is being drowned out by the hate mongers.
Many people around the world are prone to believe all the lies that are being spread about Israel. With its undeserved tainted image, anti-Semitism is once again on the rise. Jews living in the Diaspora and Israelis who travel abroad have to keep a low profile to protect themselves from the wrath of street mobs who spew anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic venom.
Many people around the world are prone to believe all the lies that are being spread about Israel. With its undeserved tainted image, anti-Semitism is once again on the rise. In its conflict with the Palestinians, Israel is losing the propaganda war, big time. Sadly, the Jewish-Zionist media presence is getting lost in a sea of misinformation about Israel.
I could not sit back and passively watch this happen. I felt that it was imperative to make the Jewish voice heard loudly and clearly though social media. And for these reasons, JewFacts came into being.
The so-called free press sorely lacks an unabashed Jewish response to the terrorists and haters, one that can really get the message across and set the record straight.
What do all those Israel bashers really know about Israel?
Do they need to be reminded that according to the Bible Israel was promised to Abraham, the patriarch of the Jewish people?

Do they need to be told that the Balfour Declaration called for the return of the Jews to their historic homeland, and that the UN – the very same UN that now so hypocritically condemns Israel, acted as the official international forum that first recognized the State of Israel?
Yes, apparently many people around the world need to be reminded of these indisputable facts. And the way to remind them is to present the Jewish people in general and Israel in particular in a positive light.
That is what JewFacts has set out to accomplish, and it has a wealth of positive information to deliver in defense of Israel and its place in the Jewish world.

Take, for instance, Israel’s worthy contributions to medicine, agriculture and hi-tech. How many people around the world know what Israel has accomplished in these areas?
Do they know that the greenhouse is an Israeli innovation?
Have they heard that Israel is a world leader in solar energy?
Are they aware that Israel’s enemies receive treatment at its state-of-the-art medical centers in Haifa, Tel-Aviv and Be’er Sheva?
And what of Israel’s record on human rights, as opposed to that of its Arab neighbors in the Middle East?
With so many lies about Israel being circulated by the global media, how many people know that Israel is an open society that champions freedom of speech and freedom of the press, contrasted with Arab countries which firmly suppress these basic democratic rights?
Indeed, who’s talking about the advancement of women in Israel as opposed to the oppression of women in Arab societies?
Historically, the Jewish people have always stood at the forefront of social progress. Israel is continuing in that fine tradition.
I felt that my mission as a Jew living in Israel is to tell the world what the State of Israel and the Jewish people are really all about - and that is the raison d’etre for JewFacts.
