The war on Israel is a war on Jewish existence and we need more.
Terror strikes from Washington to our skies under missile fire, and around the world, we sit in our safe rooms and spaces of comfort — shaken but not silent. The hatred that fuels every attack against our nation reminds us that no matter where we are in the world, Jewish lives are under threat simply for existing. And we cannot be silent.
They were murdered because they were Jews. And the hundreds who have been murdered in attacks since October 7 in Israel and abroad were warnings just like this one, and we all ask how long it will take before people wake up to the need to do more, do something DIFFERENT. Demand more, resist with pride and know that our fight is the fight of generations.
Let’s be clear: peace is not a partisan goal. Every Jew who chooses to live proudly is part of the peacemaking effort.
In the face of terror — we build. In the face of lies — we speak truth. And in the face of fear — we strengthen our unity.
We need to not divide ourselves into "the Israelis" and "the Diaspora - it is too dangerous to continue that line of thinking. Too many of the world still blame the Jews and call for our extinction. The wars of Israel are a war on all Jewish existence.
Stop the excuses and apologetics.
Stop the shock and the silent boohoo.
Stop the hypocrisy and the double think,
Stop the euphemistic transference of blame to excuse murder and calls for genocide against the Jews.
Stop saying it was because they were embassy workers, because it could have been any next couple who left that event. And it can be any event anywhere and now you can no longer deny the warnings we have been making for years.
Stop saying they were peaceniks as if that makes it "worse" - the killer did not ask their political side. Stop creating division when all Jews everywhere are the target.
We are all seeking peace but your antisemitism is destroying civilization.
Stop what you are doing and make the decision you are not going to sit idly by.
Every one is needed in this war to save humanity.
