Elie Wiesel’s message to the world was to consider our collective responsibility - to remember, to understand even what is beyond all understanding, and to translate memory into meaningful purpose.

LISTEN TO PODCAST

Survivors of October 7 have heeded the call of responsibility and have been speaking about their experiences around the world, hoping to use the personal experience to shape public empathy and recognition of the fight for Jewish survival that the assault on Israel represents - for its victims, and for all of humanity.

Their survival of the massacre or captivity has awakened their connection with the Holocaust as witnesses of atrocity. Through the lessons of Elie Wiesel, their learning and activism, their healing and recovery, their sense of purpose and passion can be empowered, and can empower each of us as we become the witness to the witness of Jewish experiences of pain and memory.
