Fighting Fire with Fire

I don’t differentiate between the State of Israel and the Land of Israel. I don’t believe that the Jewish people, after 2000 years of forced exile were finally able to re-establish Jewish sovereignty to only to be cut out and kept off of the ‘heartland’ of Israel...or as I call it, “The Original Bible Belt”. The Jewish future is rooted in the past with a promise for the future, this is to me what “Israel Forever” means.
There are clearly many people, organizations and government bodies who vehemently disagree. Chalk it up to ‘human rights’, ‘anti-colonialism’, or whatever excuse they come up with, the truth is, rejecting the Jewish people’s right to live in a land because they are Jews is nothing short of anti-semitism, discrimination and real apartheid.
Fighting back can come in many different forms. But in the end, we are all fighting against an irrational hater of the Jewish people who seeks its destruction. We all need to accept this reality. No matter how much we react and respond, the ‘haters gonna hate’. That’s sounds a bit depressing...but there is another way to fight.
What if we, instead of focusing on responding, we focused on coming together to help build and strengthen the institutions which make a nation successful?
What would it take for the UN, EU, Arab league, the BDS Movement, and other not so friendly bodies, to become irrelevant? First, we need to identify their strategy and tactics. Their strategy is to eliminate Israel as a Jewish state with Jewish people living in Judea and Samaria. Their tactics, or weapons of choice, included many wars and a few Intifadas. After failing to eliminate us using those means, they have now turned their attention on economic warfare.
Boycotts, divestment and sanctions is not simply the name of the BDS Movement, but a tool which ‘legitimate’ countries and international institutions use in order to starve out and create pressure against the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland.
As economic warfare is upon us, we need to fight fire with fire. We need to go out of our way to purchase products from Judea and Samaria. We need to encourage our local stores to carry their products, we need to support institutions and organizations whose focus is to strengthen the economy and life within Judea and Samaria.
As a readers of “Israel forever”, we all need to understand HOW Israel will be forever. That we must not rely on miracles, but must take action.
We would invite everyone to take action for Israel. Aside from tweets, posts, likes and shares, we all need to do something concrete. To take out your wallets and contribute to an action based pro-Israel organization. To do so, not just once a year, but once a month. Purchase products from Judea and Samaria, make it part of who you are, be an example to your children and grandchildren as what it means to be a real and concrete supporter of Israel.
