From San Remo to Soldiers, our history is written in stone

Shalom friends,

The San Remo Conference laid the political foundation for the creation of the 22 Arab League States and the one and only Jewish State of Israel. Few know the history, and few are aware of its value in today’s continued battle against the racist and Antisemitic BDS anti-Israel/anti-Zionist movement.

If you are looking to have confidence in your mastery of Israel’s legal rights, San Remo is one step toward the fulfillment of statehood sovereignty in the Jewish indigenous ancestral and biblical homeland.

Let us declare these rights now and FOREVER!

Transforming the statement of support by Lord Balfour in his declaration heard around the world three years prior, this historical milestone has been all but forgotten other than by academics and historians. Today, it is imperative that #EveryJew takes ownership of the stepping stones to statehood and knows the facts about Israel’s legitimacy in international law.

The importance of the San Remo Conference with regard to Palestine cannot be overstated. The Jewish people were recognized as the national beneficiary of the trust granted to Britain in the region known as Palestine for the duration of the newly crafted British Mandate. The Balfour Declaration was now to be “put into effect” and thus became a binding act of international law. The sovereignty of Palestine was vested in the Jewish people once the Mandate expired in 1948. The Arabs received national rights in over 96% of the total area of the Middle East formerly governed by the Ottoman Turks. Before the San Remo conference there did not exist a single Arab independent nation state. Not one. And during the conference, there was no protest to the Jewish state being founded in the land of Palestine.

It was here that, for the first time in history, Palestine became a legal and political entity, and it was now identified historically and legally as the land of the Jewish people.

WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW SAN REMO

The formal recognition of Israel as the Jewish national home became binding international law not in 1947 or 1948, but in 1920, when the resolutions of the San Remo conference were included as part of the Treaty of Sèvres (August 1920), and were adopted and signed unanimously by all 51 countries of the League Of Nations.
