In news articles, broadcasts, and social media, Israel is often discussed. The main topics often center around the conflict with the Palestinians, and their claims to rights and ownership. It may be very believable, but believable does not mean true. This means it is often hard to tell the difference between correct reports and sensationalist, anti-Israel propaganda, which has drastic ramifications on people’s opinions of Israel and the tensions in the overall situation.

In this slideshow, you will be shown a series of statements and photos that have been made and distributed about the conflict. Can you identify what are the facts and what are the fakes?

Use this guide and slideshow together as a tool to help others understand what is fact and what is fake - and how easy it is for one to look like the other.
