Tags: Leadership, Am Yisrael, History, Balfour, Israel Engagement, Take Action, Zionism

It was with great excitement that after years of building content, awareness, and engagement programming, The Balfour Initiative of The Israel Forever Foundation shared the stage at Zionism Forward: In the Spirit of Balfour, the American Zionist Movement's National Conference, held on November 15-17, 2017 in Washington, DC.

The conference was also held in partnership with the Department of Diaspora Activities of The World Zionist Organization in the ongoing efforts to advance the public reaffirmation of the vision and ideals set forth by Balfour and the Zionist leadership 100 years ago.

As communities and organizations sought to commemorate the 100th anniversary of this historical milestone, The Israel Forever Foundation provided an informational booklet and prepared an exhibition that was featured at the AZM conference and other local Balfour centenary celebrations.

Contact us if you would like a copy of the booklet and the exhibition. These resources, in addition to the expertly crafted educational resources are being used by communal leaders, educators, schools, and organizations to inspire their communities and members in a dynamic and engaging way.

A celebration of the Balfour Declaration invites a deeper understanding of the long history of our struggle to create a place where the Jewish people could live free in our ancient homeland.

We aim to collect 1 million signatures by the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration on November 2, 2017 to be presented to world bodies, organizations, and heads of state.
